wo es war, soll ich werden

fascination with a full body

skins, bones, muscles, steel, raw nerves
decompressed time held in a kitchen cabinet
a dry howl and the world comes into view
formlessness is given form but simply that
inside there is nothing but hollowness
opposite to what had happened in its inception

a recognition of what once was I
a past time that does not understand us
and the us unable to fully understand itself
two regimes of incomprehensibility
enframed by a single continuum

this is where god treads
and the battle between things
determined ultimately by divine imposition
none can win
only god itself thinks it can mediate
but merely points towards an incomprehensible being
that cannot even comprehend itself
